Default outlook and windows messenger

ive just installed windows xp pro and it has out express
and windows messenger on it. How can i uninstall these as
i dont use them, and windows messenger is interupting my
msn messenger 6.2. Ive tried going to "add remove
programes" but no joy. Please help.!
