Readability statistics not showing in Outlook 2007
We recently upgraded to 2007, so the problem may be a setting we haven't
found yet, but: Readability Statistics show up in Word, but not in Outlook. I tested the content of an email by forwarding and checking the same email in both Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. In 2003, the Readability Statistics window opens at the end of the check. In 2007 it does not. Show readability statistics on the Proofing tab in Editor Options is selected. What are we missing? Thanks very much for your help! |

it comes up here. I'm not sure what other setting would control it, other
than what is on the proofing tab. You do have outlook 2007 installed as part of the office suite, correct? Readability statistics not showing in Outlook 2007
I do. I continued to fiddle with it last night. I did discover the check box
about not checking the original text in a reply or forward. I thought it checked some text, because I think at the very least my signature was in there and has a period in it. And I got a box saying that it hadn't checked text marked not to be checked. Anyway, something I did somewhere fixed it. Now I have to figure out what it was and fix it for two other people. Hopefully if I did it once I can repeat it. Thanks. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: it comes up here. I'm not sure what other setting would control it, other than what is on the proofing tab. Readability statistics not showing in Outlook 2007
I think I may have figured out one, and possibly both, of the others'
problems. One hadn't selected Ignore original text. She just canceled after she got past the new text. I expect that canceled the Readability as well. She checked that box, didn't have to cancel, and got the stats. I think the problem is resolved. Thanks. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: it comes up here.
