Default picture watermark on only one page

I have tried to put a picture on a page as a watermark. I put section breaks
around that page and unlink it from the rest of the document. This works
fine with text but not pictures.

What can I do

Go to File | Page Setup and select different first page. Then open the header
and footer on the second page and remove the picture. It will only be removed
from the second page. You will, of course, have to add any other
headers/footer back on to the first page. Hope this helps.
