Outlook 2003 will not open
I had to reload my HDD after a repair, the drive was returned to factory
specs. I loaded Office 2003 and when I opened Outlook it asked if I was using an exchange server. I mistakenly answered yes and filled in the blanks. The entries I made are not for an exchange server. Now when I attemp to open Outlook I get two messages. the first --- The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. -- I then press OK and a box opens for me to correct the erronious Exchange Server and Mailbox. I hit cancel and the second message appears --- Unable to open default e-mail folders. The file c:\users\Joel\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\outl ook.ost is not an offline folder file.--- I then hit OK and Outlook closes. What must I do to clear the Exchange info and open outlook? I have removed and reloaded the software 3 times to no avail, please assist. -- Jpxpress |
