how to add addressees of sent emails to contacts
I would like the facility to automatically ADD as Contacts, the addressees
of emails I send, who are not already in my Contacts list. Is this possible? |

You failed to post your Outlook version. No full versions of Outlook ever
had the ability to add recipients automatically to your Contacts Folder. Only the long abandoned IMO mode of Outlook 98/2000 did that. To automatically add the email address of people you respond to to your Contacts Folder requires code: http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/autoaddrecip.htm http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/addauto.htm -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Silverwood256" wrote in message ... G'Day Silverwood,
If, while reading ANY e-mail message, you Right-click an e-mail address you will see the option Add to Contacts... This will open a New Contact Form with the e-mail address filled in, ready for you to add the Name etc. This is the only degree of 'automation' you will get, short of customising the e-mail Forms, and adding vbScript. -- Regards, Pat Garard Melbourne, Australia _______________________ "Silverwood256" wrote in message ...
