Hello! I recently had to have some work doen on my computer. XP was
reinstalled. Problem is spell check has a few problems. For instance, it thinks the word "food" is mis-spelled and says the correct spelling is "fou". It is set to English. Spell check works fine in Word. Any help appreciated. Thanks! -- Sheila |

Spell Check + Publisher 2002
Thanks for replying. SP's are up to date. All the languages are set to
English (U.S.). Publisher is the only product that seems to have this problem. Any other advice? -- Sheila "Mary Sauer" wrote: PUB2002: Spelling Checker Misses Misspelled Words http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322088/en-us Do you have the Office XP service packs? http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/B...3-9FF96F68E491 -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "ss813" wrote in message ... Spell Check + Publisher 2002
Mary,
I scrolled through some of your posts here and found a solution! Start Microsoft Publisher, and then open your publication. Use your mouse to select the portion of the text where you want to check spelling. To select all of the text in the whole publication, press CTRL+A. On the Tools menu, point to Language, and then click Set Language. In the Language dialog box, click the language that your text is written in, and then click OK. Press F7 to check spelling in your publication. Thanks again for your help! -- Sheila "ss813" wrote: Thanks for replying. SP's are up to date. All the languages are set to English (U.S.).
