AddIn buttons do not remember positions !
Hi,
Win XP Pro SP2 / Office XP In Powerpoint, the buutons / toolbars for some addins do not remember their positions, so at each boot they appear at original position ( one of them even creates a "line" on the toolbar for itself ( slide numbering) ! Any idea why and how correct if possible ? TIA to all |

The XX of YY slide numbering add-in that I created (before I knew better)
always recreates itself in it's beginning position on each PowerPoint start. There is no work around for it for this version. The next one is in the works, but will not be available for a few more weeks. In general, each add-in controls its own opening behavior. -- Bill Dilworth Microsoft PPT MVP Team Users helping fellow users. =============== Please spend a few minutes checking vestprog2@ out www.pptfaq.com This link will yahoo. answer most of our questions, before com you think to ask them. The behavior of the add-in buttons depend on how they are created by the
author of the add-in. If they are recreate each time then they will be set at the original location everytime it is loaded. -- Regards, Shyam Pillai http://skp.mvps.org/ "MoiMeme" wrote in message ...
