Option Grps & Cont. Forms
Is there any way to use an option group on a continuous form/subform? I want
to list 1 to many details - and per detail - select yes, no, or maybe. Any Ideas? |

Hi, vandewinkle.
Sure you can use an option group on a continuous subform. By default, Access stacks the option buttons vertically with the option group, but you can move them so they're positioned horizontally, and then minimize the size of the option group. It's a lot easier using Format/Align and Format/Horizontal Spacing/Make Even commands. Hope that helps. I'm sorry I wasn't specific enough. I understand how to physically plot an
option group; but how do you get the option group to respond individually to each detail. When I put an option group on a continuous form, and a selection is made for a detail the selection is made for all the details. Know of any way around this? "Sprinks" wrote: Hi, vandewinkle. It sounds like your option group is not bound to a field, so it will
necessarily be able to take on one value, which will display in each record. Add a field to your underlying record source if necessary, and set the Option Group's Control Source property to the name of the field. Hope that helps.
