Default How Can I prevent loosing data in a form

I have a data base in Access 2000. It is designed to create Invoices by
number. There are times that an error message will occure when the agents
enter in invalid information in a date field or numeric. The message states
that the information cannot be saved. Data will be lost. What can I do to
prevent the loss of any data that was entered. Can I use "undo" or any other
method that will enable me to keep the data.
