Default Problems after Office 2007 SP2 with Outlook 2007

I have two problems that have surfaced after installing the Office 2007 SP2
Service Pack in Outlook 2007.

1). When attempting to save file attachments, Outlook is dropping the file
name suffix (e.g., .pgp, .gpg).

2). When Outlook receives mail from my POP3 server, some messages sent from
others using a webmail client are getting wrapped and showing up in
attachments rather than inline text.

Are there any additional hotfixes to resolve either or both of these problems?

1. Are you using vista? do you have it set to hide file extensions?
2. are you scanning email with an antispam program?

1. Yes, I'm running Vista. NO, file extension are not hidden.
2). No email is not being scanned with an antispam program.

Both problems did not exist before Office 2007 SP2 was installed.

Thanks,
