Default Cut A Legend From A Chart

Is it possible to cut a legend from a chart so that I can paste it somewhere
else on a ppt slide? It is currently on the right side of a chart but would
like to cut it out and display it horizontally on the bottom of the slide.

You can right-click the legend and choose Format Legend and from there opt
to display it on the bottom and it will move stuff around automagically. Or
you can use the Legend options on the Chart Tools Layout tab.

Or you can copy the chart, Paste Special (on the Home tab) as EMF and then
right-click and ungroup twice. Delete the extraneous stuff and then group
the legend and move / resize it as necessary. Then delete the legend from
the original chart by selecting the legend and right-clicking and choosing
Delete or using the Delete button on your keyboard.
