Default Outlook Express problem.

Hi

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i can't find an Outlook
Express group. I've got Windows XP and recently i can't open Outlook Express
6 at all. i get two error messages as follows.

firstly, "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable
to open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory
or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
(0x8007000E)

then after clicking OK i get this message, "Outlook Express could not be
started because MSOE.dll could not be initialized. Outlook Express may not be
installed correctly."

i don't think it's anything to do with space as i've got well over 50gb
free, and other much more demanding programs run fine with the RAM i've got.
i've searched microsoft.com for MSOE.dll info but can't find anything for XP.

any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm going to be needing OE again
very soon.

Thanks
