Default Converting Timeline from Visio 2003 to Visio 2002

I have created a Timeline in Visio 2003. My customer uses Visio 2002. When I
save as 2002 drawing format the customer can read the files but can not use
the timeline features (e.g. automatic dating if a milestone is moved, etc.).

What can I do to make the drawing properly editable in Visio 2002?

The v2003 and v2002 timelines use different add-ins (i.e. different modules)
which are called by the shapes in the templates. You'll probably end up
creating them in v2002 format.

Visio added some significant changes to the timeline stencil, but these
features will be lost when you save the drawing as a Visio 2002 drawing.
(The extra functionality is in the Visio 2003 code rather than the stencil)
