Outlook shortcuts are not working after server migration

We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to
Exchange 2003 messaging environment. We have already
implemented Active Directory on Windows 2003 platform.
Our existing Exchange 5.5 organisation contains single
site.

Shortcuts to other users' mailbox folders, calendars,
journals are not working from Outlook client (Outlook
2002) after migrating users' mailboxes from Exchange 5.5
to Exchange 2003 & shutting down Exchange 5.5 servers.

We are looking for a solution to automatically redirect
Outlook folder shortcuts to new Exchange 2003 servers.

Notes:

(1) We're experiencing problem only with Outlook
shortcuts. We are in the process of migrating from

to new Exchange 2003 servers after mailbox movement &
Outlook profile is getting updated with new Exchange 2003
server information.
(2) The outlook shortcuts are properly getting
redirected to new Exchange 2003 servers only if Exchange
5.5 servers are on-line. The above problem is stopping us
from decommissioning Exchange 5.5 servers.
