Default power point keeps loading on startup

Everytime I start my computer PowerPoint tries to load but can't due to an
error. It has the box ticked to restart PowerPoint and send an error report.
If I send the error report it tells me to start PowerPoint in safe mode to
correct the problem but I have no idea what the problem is. I went into
config to remove it from starting up with windows but it isn't listed there.

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this from loading on start up?

Thank you

I do not know what is wrong with your computer, but if it was mine, I would
....

1) Uncheck the box to restart PowerPoint.
2) Install all updates to Office products and Windows
3) Restart PowerPoint after rebooting the system

If it still errors, I would ...

4) Remove any and all add-ins (using the methods they suggest on
installation)
5) Remove Adobe Acrobat Office functions (if installed)
6) Restart PowerPoint after rebooting the system.

If it still errors, I would ...

7) Try running a detect and repair from within PowerPoint.

If it still errors, I would ask that you post back with some additional
information.

Version of PowerPoint and Windows?
Have you installed any add-in's (even if you have removed them)?
What was installed after Office and prior to this error starting?
Is this computer part of a IT managed setting?
