Default Using an ampersand in a report label control

In an Access 2002 report, I need to be able to have an ampersand (&) as part
of the text in a couple of label controls. When I place the text into the
control for later display however, the ampersand disappears (being replaced
by a tiny underline character), and does not show on the report. I need to be
able to have something like:

"Alpha & Beta & Gamma"

for example. How do I get the ampersand character to display in the label
control?

thanks in advance!

Simple one (if you know the secret)

Type TWO ampersands in a row and the caption will display One ampersand.

THANK YOU!!! (I never thought that the old coding trick was also necessary in
a literal text field. *sigh*)
