After upgraded from Office 2000 to Office XP, or from Office 2000 to Office
2003, my files did not print as they did before. I checked the font settings,
printer settings and actually all settings are the same.

It seems even using the same font, office xp/2003 printed smaller.

Did you try updating your printer drivers?

I tried to update the driver, but don't help.
If I uninstall office 2003/XP and install back 2000, all problems went away.

More information:
The printer with problem is an Epson LQ-300+ dot-matrix printer.
The font size of the printout always smaller than any other printers (no
matter what fonts are used).
Although there is no updated driver, I reinstalled the printer driver.

That is a very old printer. There are no guarantees that any peripheral that
old will work (or work correctly) with current software and operating
systems. I doubt that this is what you want to hear but I have a bad habit
of trying to be honest in situations like this. It's time to upgrade your
printer.

The fonts that are used, are IN the printer(the size is embeded in the
printer). Unless of course you set it up to do graphics and that will
render the "text" as a picture. Be prepared to wait for the output awhile.
