Microsoft Office 2007 beta (Beware you must uninstall after it
Has it even occurred to you that we are so lucky to have a 6-9 month
opportunity to try out a complete package of the latest Office suite for FREE? Yes, we will not be able to use it after February 1st...limited pretty much does mean "not at all" but I am still grateful. " wrote: Ok, moronic Milly, what does "Beta 2 will continue to work" mean?! Microsoft Office 2007 beta (Beware you must uninstall after it
To put it in simple terms you should be able to understand
See this website http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/e...ture-5978.html -- Paul Ballou MVP Office http://office.microsoft.com/home http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/ http://www.ballousgiftshop.com Life would be easier if we could view the source code wrote in message ups.com... I was only able to launch the program after I set my computer clock back to the year 2006. All I am trying to say is that MS should correct there language, otherwise they are going to get in trouble. Paul, your analogy is ridiculous. When 2007 comes around and everyone is forced to unistall it what do you think is going to happen when MS on thier website stated that the BETA would still work with limited functionality. Unistalling the program is not limted. Why can't you guys get this simple argument. I am not even saying that MS should not have released the beta. They should just change their terms of use. Paul Ballou wrote: I take it you were able to still launch the program then that means the program still had functionality therefore only reduced to you not being able to use program features.... The point you are trying to make is the reason they put "Not for Oral Use" on Preparation H and " Caution Contents Hot" on a cup of Hot Coffee... -- Paul Ballou MVP Office http://office.microsoft.com/home http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/ http://www.ballousgiftshop.com Life would be easier if we could view the source code wrote in message ups.com... Reduced does not mean NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Limited functiuonality does not mean NONE!!!!! If MS doesn't want to say what they mean then they can explain it to the judge. Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] wrote: There is nothing saying that "Reduced Functionality" CANNOT mean none. Correct what? The beta will expire in February 2007. It will no longer be
usable to produce anything new. You can read what you produced during the beta period. If that is true, then there should be no problems. I just don't see how you can "read what you produced during the beta period" if MS forces you to unistall the Beta program. Maybe they will correct this by 2007. |

Microsoft Office 2007 beta (Beware you must uninstall after it expires)
8 months with a working version of Office 2007 for free is pretty amazing in
my opinion. A very LONG beta / trial period. Any reasonable person would just buy the software when that period expires if they like it and want to continue using it. I'd pay for it now if I could. "Beth Melton" wrote in message ... After you encountered the message did you try opening a document anyway?? Why don't you try it again and let us know what happens exactly. :-) Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup.
