Default Office 2007 beta technical refresh

Nice talking to you Patrick. Thanks for your kind efforts and initiative for
helping, assisting and sharing some of your experience in MS Office 2007.
Cheers.

Derric

1. Yes
2. Yes, but you need to install the beta 2 versions before you install
any B2TR patch. Note that Project and Visio have B2TR patches separate
from the main Office 2007 B2TR patch. This means you need to install
those three patches only after you installed all B2 applications.
3. On your server? I think it is a very good idea to do that. I don't
know much about server programs of Office 2007 though.
4. If you have other languages besides the main one (presumably English)
installed, then you need the B2TR patch for those languages as well.

3. Is is necessary to install Windows Sharepoint Services Technical Refresh?

Hi Patrick,

Wonder you managed to test whether MS Office 2007 B2TR has fixed the issue
about Expression Designer Beta 1 conflict with MS Office 2007 Beta 2? Which
you can only install either 1 only.

Hi Patrick,

You mentioned in your personal website that after installing B2TR, you
encounter the error messages "File Not Found / File Not Available" due to
2007 Office Beta 2 Technical Refresh and Norton Antivirus, having said that,
what about other antivirus like AVAST and AVG?

I copied that warning from the official known issues page. Microsoft has
only found an issue with NAV. If you discover an issue with AVAST or
AVG, please let us know.

You need to install all Beta 2 applications you want, then the B2TR
patches (SharePoint Designer, Visio, Project, Groove require separate
patches), and then Expression Web Beta 1.
Works fine here.
