Default adding graphics to access

I want to set up fields so that i can store photod on my
access database. They are pictures of patients. It seems
that access wants to only store the icon. Is there a way
for access to display the actual picture shrunk to size
and so that when the picture is double clicked it opens up
into a graphics program like photoshop etc
I realise you guys are hotshots. I am only a dumb arse
dentist.
thanks for your help if you decide to do so

regards

Matthew

G'day Matthew,

you're not a dumb arse you are an Aussie Dentist. It's normally not a good
idea to store images in access because it is pretty inefficient.
have a look at the following

http://www.mvps.org/access/forms/frm0030.htm

That should help you out.

Cheers
Stewart
