Default Outlook 2003 e-mail problem

Hi,

Please, I need your help guys.
I've just imported my e-mails from eudora 6.0.0.1 to an Address Book, which I namede Mauro_Address_Book. In several Outlook's toolbars, I can see a icon named Address Book. When I clik in it, it opens with the name of Address Book. Important: this Address Book is totaly symchronized with my Contact folder. Detail: In my Address Book there is a box named "Show Name from the:", with the fallowing names: OutLook Addres Book, Contact, Contact, Contact, Contact, Mauro Address Book, and Mauro Address Book.

My Problem is: When I choose any contact from my Address Book, in my "to" box, an underlined word appears. However, the massage always come back with a sistem administrator alert notifying me some problem with the e-mail.

My Question is:
1- How can I choose an e-mail from my Address Book and use it correctly?
2- What I am doing wrong?
3- How I clean up every thing?

thank's

[]'s
Mauro.

Just how many Contact Folders do you actually have?
Your Outlook Address Book Service is corrupt. Remove it.
Restart Outlook. Re-add it.

Nice... very nice...

than'ks a lot.

But one last question:
Which is the diference between an Outlook Address Book and a Personal Address Book?
I need to know that, in order to know which one I should better re-install.

thanks

The Outlook Address Book replaced the Personal Address Book years ago. Use
the former.

Default Outlook 2003 e-mail problem

Thanks...

things are getting better here!

I get one more question:

I cleaned up every thing, and after I re-installed an Outlook Address Book.
Now I have in my Address Book in the box "Show Names from the" two names: first, an Outlook Address Book; second, a Contacts. When I select the name Contacts, I get all contacts I have in my Outlook Contacts folder; however, when I select the name Outlook Address Book, I get this bold answer: No entries in this Address Book.

Please, answer my questions if this pleasure you:

1- Am I right so far?
2- In Addres Book, shoul I do something in orde to have just one Name in "Show Names from the:"?
3- Or should I just use the Cantacts "name" in my Address Book, and ignore the Outlook Address Book "name"?

Thanks

Mauro.

All normal. The Outlook Address Book is just an empty shell containing any
Contact Folders that you have enabled as email address books. It will always
appear empty if you select it. No need ever to select it from that dropdown.
