Update Query and Macro
Hi,
I need to make an Update Query that can add the following setup to the Criteria Field in another Query so that I can run a Macro. The expression we currently type into the query is: *between dd/mm/yy and dd/mm/yy* this gives us a list of records which is then used to produce letters. I am trying to automate my system further so that the report which is based on this query can be run using a Macro, I have managed to do that, but if the field could be updated as part of the Macro then that would cut user time in generating the report. I am not sure if this is actually possible however. Thank You Nikki |

Update Query and Macro
See:
Limiting a Report to a Date Range at: http://allenbrowne.com/casu-08.html The article suggests 2 possible approaches. The first one can be used with a macro. The second one uses a form for entering the dates. BTW, since your date format is non-American, you may benefit from the info in this article also: International Date Formats in Access at: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-36.html -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
