Outlook 2003 freezing when sending messages & getting Not Respondi
We run Windows 7 Pro and Office 2003 Pro, when sending some messages Outlook
hangs for a short period with the "Not Reponding" message and in most cases it clears and the message is sent, in others we have to restart Outlook and re-type and resend the message. Office 2003 is SP3, and this is the only one out of some 55 other stations identically configured that is having this problem. This persons original XP Pro station does not have this issue. Messages for the most do not have attachments nor are they lengthy, most are sent outside and some inside. |

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus scanner.
