Maximum number of data points
Hello,
I'm wondering if there are any downloads to increase the maximum number of data points for Scatter plots in Excel. I'm restricted by the 32000 point limit. Thank you Harish Kukreja |

Harish -
You have a couple choices. If you need 32k points in a series, make two series, plot points 32001 to N in the second series, and format them the same. The second choice is to ask whether you really need 32k points. If your chart is 160x200 pixels, that's 32000 pixels. So you can't resolve anywhere near 32000 points. Making a full page chart still won't let you plot more than about 1/20 of the points if they make a time series. Could you plot every 100th point, or plot an average for each 100 points? - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ Zero wrote: Hello, I'm wondering if there are any downloads to increase the maximum number of data points for Scatter plots in Excel.
