Why do my invited attendees not receive their meeting appts?
When I schedule a meeting, and invite attendees, I am able to send, and I
think the way it should work is the person I've invited should receive an email. However, he never receives it. Why is this happening? He receives my regular emails just fine. |

Do you have "Request responses" checked in the Actions menu of a new meeting
request? -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. I checked that today when I came in and yes, that is checked. I don't want
this to be the answer, but could this problem be related to Microsoft Exchange Server? We do not have Exchange Server. If this is the problem, I would like to see the functionality either greyed out in Outlook, or some kind of error message when I try to send the invitation. Thanks for your suggestion. Why do my invited attendees not receive their meeting appts?
I had the same problem and here is what I found.
The person inviting me to a meeting is using Outlook 2000 and I am using Outlook 2002. When they schedule a meeting anad invite attendees, they have to go under the "actions" pull down and click "forward as iCalender". I then receive the e-mail, click on the calender and respond accordingly. Hope this helps...it worked for me.
