installation source has been corrupted
ok i don't know whats wrong but i can't install microsoft office basic 2003.
I have a new acer laptop and when i put the cd in and the product key put when i hit enter it says "microsoft office setup cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted." What just happened? Does anyone have any idea? |

Contact Acer - Office Basic is an OEM only installation package and the OEM

find the setup.ini files, usually in FILES\SETUP\Setup.ini
add the following two lines under the [options] tag ACCEPTEULA=1 PIDKEY=your license key with no dashes That solved it for me, the other crap in the KB article did nothing except waste my time, but at the very bottom they mention the ACCEPTEULA=1 part. |

where do I find the set up file? I found the note pad and did what you said it asked if I wanted to save the changes and I said yes and it redirected me to another window and then said I didn't have authorization to save it.?
