I cannot save from "save as"
WHEN LOADING A FILE FROM MY DATA BASE I CANNOT SAVE IT UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME
USING THE "SAVE AS" FUNCTION. I GET AN ERROR STATING THAT THE FILE S EITHER IN AN INACCESSABLE PLACE, IS PASSWORD PROTECTED OR CONTAINS / or \. iI CANNOT BELIEVE THAT ANY OF THESE ARE RUE. WHERE HAVE I GONE WRONG? THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WINWORD AND EXCEL |

Your CapsLock key is broken too. Either that, or you are
deliberately SHOUTING at the people from whom you ask help, which is probably not the best approach. I cannot save from "save as"
If you bother to learn about proper netiquette, then you would
realize you are not so funny. Regarding your original question, see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=895900 "You cannot save a file from your Windows XP-based or Windows 2000-based computer to a shared folder on a file server". The usual solutions are to either uninstall the KB885250 update or obtain and install the hotfix for the KB885250 update.
