Default Calendar in 2003
Hi folks, we're using outlook 2003 with exchange 5.5
I have a user who has his mailed delivered directly to his .PST, but we use his server account as the default calendar location. We do this for sharing purposes and because he has a blackberry. The problem is, when he creates a new calendar entry it drops onto his .PST calendar, and we also cannot remove that calendar from his navigation pane, when using the calendar view. Is this by design? I'm wondering if this is happening because of the .PST being his default delivery point. The exact same thing is happening with his Contacts, we are trying to use the server account as his default location for contacts. I'm going to guess that we're forced to use the default delivery location, but would love to hear that verified, and if we're not forced in that manner, how do we remove the unwanted entries in the navigation pane. Thanks for any help John |

Default Calendar in 2003
That's not the way it works. The default calendar is the one in the store
that's acting as the default delivery location. The best solution is to get rid of the .pst file. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "John hill" wrote in message ...
