Default Advanced Filter in Shared Workgroup?

Is there anyway to get an advanced filter to work in a
shared workbook? If not, is there an alternative to
advanced filtering that I could use?

Thanks,

You could filter the results to a different workbook:

1. Create a new blank workbook
2. Choose DataFilterAdvanced Filter
3. Select Copy to another location
4. Activate the shared workbook, and select the list range
5. Select the criteria range (in either workbook)
6. Select a 'Copy to' location
7. Click OK
