Default Calendar View/Pane

I have a problem with using views from the Calendar view in the navigation
panel. First I select calendar from the navigation panel. I then check on a
second calendar to show side by side with my calendar. I have a filter on
the view of the second calendar and everything looks great. However if I go
back to my inbox and then return to the calendar the view/filter is no longer
applied. The two calendars are on side by side, but the filter for the
second calender is gone and I see everything. Is there a way to make outlook
save this filter so when I return I only see the items that are filtered. It
would be ok if I could change the view for that calendar but when my calendar
is checked on I can only change that view.

Thanks,
