Default Pie Chart Resize

I would like to enlarge my pie chart but not the plot area of the embedded
chart (ie-decrease the white space within the plot area). However, when I
select the pie chart then drag it out in an attempt to enlarge it, the only
thing that happens is the the pieces of the pie chart become separated from
eachother and don't enlarge. I want the whole pie chart (connected) to
THX.

Default Pie Chart Resize

Hi,

You can increase the plotarea, within the chart area, selecting it.
Currently sounds like you are selecting the slices and dragging those
will cause them to explode.
The plotarea is a square within which the slices are located.
So imagine a square and click in the corner areas around the slices.
Or click the slices and then use the Up arrow to cycle thru the chart
elements.

Cheers
Andy

Default Pie Chart Resize

Hi Andrew,

Selecting the plot area on the pie is a little confusing at first, so the
easiest way to handle this is the select the chart and open the Chart Objects
drop down on the Chart toolbar and pick Plot Area. You will see a square
around the chart with sizing handles at the corners. Resize with these.
