Unexpected error from external database driver (8961)

I'm using ShowCase Query (7.0) to extract information from an AS400 system.
The information is output to a dBASE IV file. When I attempt to import the
contents of this .dbf file into Access 2003 (File Get External Data
Link Tables) I receive the following error message, "Unexpected error from
external database driver (8961)." I found a Microsoft article that speaks of
a fix involving renaming a Borland folder. But there is no such folder on my
PC. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
