Syncing to different Outlook folders
How do I sync my HP ipaq to a different folder that the default folder? I
want my contacts folder to have just those names with email addresses. My PDA has multiple listings without email addresses and this was appended to my list of just email contacts. I removed the listings without email addresses and have not synced in months because I do not want to go throught that again. I want the default contacts folder to be just names with email addresses and want a separate folder for syncing just to back up my data on my PDA. Thanks. |

Syncing to different Outlook folders
Not an Outlook question. Whether your sync software can support syncing to
folders other than the default is a question for whoever supports whatever sync software you are using. Most can't. -- Russ Valentine "George" wrote in message ... ... How do I sync my HP ipaq to a different folder that the default folder? You don't, with the software that came with the iPAQ. ActiveSync can access only the default folders. If you want to backup your data on the iPAQ, use the backup software that comes embedded in the iPAQ or use ActiveSync's backup tool. ToolsBackup/Restore. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
