Caps Lock

I know this is not the right formum, but I don't know where else to turn.

I have a student I suspect of reversing the Caps Lock Function. The Caps Lock light is off and all caps comes out of the keyboard. When the light is on, all lower case.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Could be that the System Setup/Bios has been "diddled with". When you boot
the system, look for the key combination that will get you into Setup (on
some old Dells, for example,it was Ctrl-Alt-Enter, on others it's an F-key).
