Default Needs option to delete foward only when deleting reoccurring serie

I deleted an appointment series because I would not need it any longer.
Because I selected “delete all” I lost all the meetings I had attended. Other
programs give you the option to delete forward appoints only. Alternatively,
Outlook should warn the user that history will be deleted and suggest a
change to the end date in the reoccurring item.
