Opening multiple files for side-by-side comparison
In Office 95 I could open two or more files in Word or in PowerPoint and view
them side-by-side. And I could drag text and objects from one to the other. In PowerPoint I could drag slides from one presentation to the other. This was VERY useful. How can I do this in Office 2003? (I am aware of the "Insert" feature, but that doesn't allow side-by-side comparison.) Thanks! Fred Ayer |

Opening multiple files for side-by-side comparison
Hi Fred,
In Powerpoint 2003 if you have two presentations open you can use the Window=Arrange all to see them side by side. In Word 2003 you can open two documents and use the Window=Compare Side by Side choice. Word 2003 also has features on Tools=Compare and Merge that may be useful to you. If two items is all you have open you can right click on the Windows taskbar and choose Tile Windows Vertically. ======== "Keokuk" wrote in message ...
