Reminders Do Not Remind
Are the items in the default folders outlook created? Reminders only fire
from those folders - there is a 3rd party app that you can use - look for reminder manager at www.slovaktech.com On 23 Apr 2004 17:23, Chrisp wrote: A user creates an appointment, with a 15 minute reminder. The reminderwindow does not pop up. I have tried /cleanreminders. Reminders Do Not Remind
The items are in the calendar (I assume this is a default folder) and the appointments were created directly in Outlook on the calendar. Is this what you are asking? This is the only user having this problem, so I am guessing he has changed something and does not know what or his system has become corrupted. I am hoping someone may have had the problem and has a solution. ------------------------------------------------ ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com/ ~~View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Reminders Do Not Remind
Please post parts of the preceding thread in your posts. Your interface to
the newsgroups isn't doing that and it makes it hard to follow the thread. Try starting Outlook using the /cleanreminders switch. If that doesn't work try the /resetfolders and /cleanfreebusy switches. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Chrisp" wrote in message ...
