Why did the CTRL+Delete function stop working (Office 03)?

I work in an office with no control over the load on my computer and about
two weeks ago the control + delete function stopped working. Our help desk
has reloaded my computer with Office a couple of different ways with no
change. It looks like others have this problem, but not everyone.

I gather you are referring to Word? If so, see if the keyboard command
was reassigned or missing. Go to Tools/Customize and select the
Commands tab if necessary. Click the "Keyboard..." command at the
bottom.In the Categories select "All Commands" and in the Commands
list find "DeleteWord". Select it and check the shortcut in Current
keys. If you do not see Ctrl+Del then click in the "Press new shortcut
key" text box, press Ctrl + Del, and then click "Assign".
